Dr. Matthew A. Heller DOOphthalmologist
Dr. Matthew Heller received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Arizona and attended medical school at Midwestern University - Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida in 2015. During his residency, he received the Patrick Murray Academic Achievement Award, a distinguished scholarship awarded to only three residents annually.
Dr. Matthew Heller is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in high volume cataract and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery(MIGS). He also performs laser vision correction, blepharoplasty, and evaluates and treats all kinds of eye conditions including dry eye, macular degeneration, and pterygium.
Outside of his passion for eye care he enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and his three children Bo, Kira, and Lawson.

Dr. Benjamin L. HellerDOOphthalmologist
Dr. Ben is a 2nd generation board certified Ophthalmologist who was born and raised here in Phoenix, Arizona. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Arizona State University. He furthered his education with a medical degree at Touro University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. Dr. Ben completed Ophthalmology residency at Nova Southeastern University in conjunction with Larkin Community Hospital.
Dr. Ben specializes in high volume cataract, MIGS, refractive cataract, and pterygium surgery. His true passions professionally are surgical procedures and research. He is active in research and is currently enrolling patients in several trials ranging from glaucoma surgical devices to dry eye trials.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Dr.Shivi AgrawalMDOphthalmologist and Corneal Specialist
Dr. Shivi Agrawal is a board-specialized and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract, refractive, and cornea surgery. She is dedicated to offering to her patients the most advanced surgeries and procedures available including cataract surgery using advanced technology, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL), and laser vision correction with LASIK and PRK. She is also an expert in minimally invasive corneal transplant surgery and the medical and surgical treatment of corneal and external diseases including Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy, Keratoconus, and is trained in all disciplines of comprehensive ophthalmology.
Dr. Agrawal earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Medical Degree at a rigorous combined 6-year undergraduate and medical program at the University of Arizona and Northeast Ohio Medical University. During this time, she also completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. During her internship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Agrawal founded a sustainable, community supporting, mobile free clinic in rural India. She received several grants to combat the burden of blindness which established ocular health education and sustainable nutritional programs at over 50 primary schools. Afterwards, she went on to complete ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona and a fellowship in refractive surgery, external ophthalmic diseases, and corneal transplantation at the prestigious Price Vision Group in Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Agrawal performs thousands of cataract surgeries yearly utilizing the latest intraocular implants and equipment including Femtolaser Assisted Cataract Surgery (FLACS). She is especially attuned to patients requiring cataract surgery with ocular surface and corneal pathologies such as dry eyes, Fuchs’ Dystrophy, post Radial Keratotomy (RK), post LASIK, irregular astigmatism, and post corneal transplant.
A Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology (AAO), member of the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS), and Women in Ophthalmology (WIO), Dr. Agrawal has authored numerous research publications and book chapters. In addition, Dr. Agrawal is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona where she mentors resident physicians in the art of cataract and corneal surgeries. She also serves the Veterans at the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration Healthcare System. Dr. Agrawal is committed to the highest standards of patient care and successful outcomes and has been voted Phoenix “Top Doc” by her peers.
Dr. Agrawal lives in Phoenix with her husband, Eric, and their two young children. She is an avid reader, outdoor enthusiast and student of Bikram yoga and mindfulness which she practices daily to strengthen and rejuvenate her body, mind, and spirit.

Dr.Laura GrantMDOphthalmologist
Dr. Laura Grant received her Bachelor’s of Art degree in Biology as well as a degree in Spanish Language from Saint Louis University (SLU) in St. Louis, Missouri in 2011. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Honors degree. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Laura was a Division I college athlete, competing in the 1 and 3 meter springboard diving in the Atlantic 10 conference for Saint Louis University. During her time at SLU undergrad, she also participated in a service community called the Micah House and completed over 400 hours of service in underserved areas of the city. She also spent a semester abroad in Madrid Spain in 2009.
After graduation, Dr. Laura returned to her home state of Texas and completed her Doctorate of Medicine at the Texas Tech Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso, Texas. After graduating in 2015, she moved to Seattle, Washington for one year to complete an IRB-approved research fellowship assessing structural components of the eyes of neonatal babies (NICU) undergoing Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) exams. As a result of her research time in Seattle, she is a co-author of a number of publications.
In 2016, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix and the Phoenix Veterans Affairs hospital. After completion of this program, she relocated to Michigan as a Resident House Officer in the Henry Ford Ophthalmology Program from 2017-2020. She graduated in 2020 and became a Board Certified Ophthalmologist through the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Laura has spent the last five years in private practice, specializing in cataract surgery, including the insertion of premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) (including the Light Adjustable Lenses), minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), small lid lesion procedures, and diagnosing and treating other general ophthalmology concerns including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She is a member of the Phoenix Ophthalmology Society (POS), the Phoenix Ophthalmology Women's Society (POWS) and the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
Dr. Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott and is a mother to four young children. In her spare time, she enjoys planning the next family vacation, snow skiing, reading mystery novels, watching baking shows, and spending time with her cousins and extended family. She is proficient in Spanish speaking, reading, and writing. Dr. Laura is passionate about providing excellent ophthalmic care and about individualizing the care and treatment plan for each patient she meets.

Dr. Bruce Newman MDOphthalmologist
Dr. Newman spent his early career as a Medical Director of the Ophthalmology Dept. at Bryan Medical Group, Ohio and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Ohio Ophthalmology Dept. Upon moving to Phoenix, Arizona, he became Medical Director for the Omni-Medivision Eye Center. In 1990, he began his private practice, Newman Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He regularly attends the meetings of the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, to offer the latest in ophthalmology surgeries and procedures.
He is a board certified Ophthalmologist since 1983, performing cataract, glaucoma, refractive, and cosmetic surgery. He is passionate about improving the vision of patients, so that they may better their lives.

Dr.Niraj PatelMDOphthalmologist
Dr. Niraj Patel, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery. Originally from Chandler, Arizona, he is excited to continue building roots in the Valley while serving the greater Phoenix community.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Patel attended Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, subsequently completing a master's degree in the Science of Health Care Delivery. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Emory University in Atlanta, where he cared for a diverse patient population and managed a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions. His clinical interests include glaucoma care, chronic disease management, and cataract surgery.
Dr. Patel's philosophy of care is centered on treating patients with kindness and empathy, and developing individualized treatment plans through shared decision making. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel enjoys cheering on the Suns, traveling, and discovering that new spots in the Valley.

Dr.Derek JeanesODOptometrist
Dr. Jeanes received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas A&M University. He furthered his education by attending Midwestern University-Arizona college of optometry, where he earned his doctor of optometry degree.
During his clinical externships, Dr. Jeanes received training in the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, ocular infections and other diseases. He expanded his depth of knowledge by completing a residency at M&M Eye Institute in Prescott, AZ, where he also received training in pre and post operative care of cataract surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Jeanes enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, and watching hockey.

Juliana del Valle CamejoPAPhysician Assistant
Juliana Camejo is foreign Ophthalmologist and Medical Retinologist from Venezuela. She has an extensive and well rounded academic background having attended medical school at Carabobo University in Venezuela and completing her ophthalmology residency at Francisco Antonio Risquez Hospital- Caracas, Venezuela in 2005.
Juliana completed a Medical Retina Fellowship at Ophthalmology Center of Valencia in 2007. She enjoys providing vision care and education for the whole family, her clinical experience for more than 15 years includes ocular disease, primary care, diagnosis, management, and treatment of ophthalmic conditions. She has completed a fellowship in ocular imaging: OCT, Visual fields, Fundus Photography. She has been a medical missionary since 2018.
Juliana Camejo is a board certified Physician Assistant from The Arizona Regulatory Board of PA by Universal Recognition since 2024. She is an integral part of the eye care team at Eye Doctors of Arizona. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and loves sports, and traveling.

Dr.Naul PazODOptometrist
Dr. Paz received his optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He completed a clinical externship at Utah Vision Development Center where he trained in pediatric optometry and binocular vision anomalies. At PFK Floyd K. Lindstrom Outpatient Clinic in Colorado Springs, Dr. Paz trained in anterior and posterior ocular disease. He completed his training at Denver Health Medical Center with an emphasis on diagnosis and management of anterior & posterior ocular disease.
Dr. Paz has experience working with patients with medical eye conditions like dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and much more. He has been a clinical educator in the past; he had adjunct clinical professor appointments with both Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry and Pacific University College of Optometry.
Dr. Paz is a big sports fan, following the Los Angeles Lakers, Liverpool FC, LAFC, Denver Broncos, and LA Dodgers. He stays active playing indoor soccer in local leagues, mountain biking, and skiing. He has also embraced golf since moving to Arizona in 2021.

Dr.Jayme WindsorODOptometrist
Dr. Windsor received her Bachelor of Health Science degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her optometry residency at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, specializing in ocular disease with a focus on low vision rehabilitation. During her residency, Dr. Windsor also served as chief resident. Dr. Windsor has developed significant clinical expertise through her externships and residency, gaining proficiency in managing a broad range of eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, binocular vision disorders, traumatic brain injury-related ocular issues, ocular infections, and dry eye. She is also skilled in pre- and post-operative care of ocular surgeries and takes pleasure in fitting glasses and soft contact lenses.
Dr. Windsor is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for her patients. In her free time, Dr. Windsor enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and reading.

Dr.Joanna QuachODOptometrist
Dr. Quach received her optometry degree from State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry in New York City. She further advanced her clinical training by completing a residency at the Phoenix VA Health Care System specializing in ocular disease. Through her clinical externships and residency training, Dr. Quach has developed extensive experience in management in dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, pre-operative evaluations, and post surgical care. Dr. Quach is also extensively experienced in fitting glasses and soft contacts.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Quach enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She also enjoys cooking and staying active.

Melina Carlini RN, BSNNurse Injector
With nearly two decades of experience in the aesthetics field and a solid clinical background, Melina offers a rare combination of medical precision and artistic skill. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been a licensed esthetician for 19 years. In addition to her aesthetic work, she serves as an operating room circulating nurse at our surgery center, ASCA, where her attention to detail and surgical knowledge further enhance the care she provides.
A passionate advocate for skin health, Melina is well known for her unwavering commitment to sun protection—earning her the title of SPF enforcer among clients and family. As a an Arizona native, she knows firsthand the value of proactive skin care in a sun-drenched climate.
Away from the treatment room, Melina enjoys life with her husband of over 10 years and their two daughters. Her approachable nature, expertise, and dedication to high-quality care make her an invaluable part of our team.

Dr.Warren H. HellerMDOphthalmologist (Retired)
Dr. Warren H. Heller is the founding Ophthalmologist of Eye Doctors of Arizona. After an illustrious career of serving the greater Phoenix area for over 45 years, Dr. Heller is now retired. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
About Dr. Heller: Dr Warren is an Army Veteran and served 8 years in the United States Army before he attended Washington University for his residency in Ophthalmology. Following completion of his residency in 1975, he headed west to Phoenix to start his practice. For the entire duration of his career he practiced in his office located on 7th Ave and Buckeye. His sons Benjamin and Matthew joined him in practice and continue to carry on their father's legacy of eye care in here in Phoenix.
Despite retirement, Dr. Heller enjoys reading journals to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends seminars and courses. Dr. Heller's dedication to excellence in eye care laid the foundation for his two sons, Matthew and Benjamin to continue to provide the most modern and progressive vision care available.
